About Algarve Walks

Algarve Walks with Moonlight Services! Join Brian on his walks in the Eastern Algarve and make new friends, keep fit, learn some local history and see the local birds and wildlife. What better way to see some of the beautiful Algarve countryside!

During the cooler months (October to May) there are 2 Algarve walks a week: "Striders" on Tuesdays for the more energetic walkers  (10kms and more), and "Amblers" on Fridays (10kms or less). The cost is just 10 euros which includes lunch!
During the hotter months (from June to September) there is just one walk a week on Tuesday evenings at 6pm which are shorter ambler walks.
 "Striders" walks start at 09.00 and "Amblers" start at 09.30

Additional Information:

Moonlight Services also do tailor made Algarve Walks for customer group requirements, like, for example a Walk just for bird watching.

For health and safety reasons and also to maintain and promote a small friendly group there will be a maximum of 18 walkers, so booking is essential.

The monthly walking programme is available on Moonlight Services website. Although based in Vila Nova da Cacela,  walks take in all parts of the Eastern Algarve from Tavira to Spain and northwards to Alcoutim.
